Just like for the X3, the most important aspect of the X3 GEAR is an optimal street wheel riding experience.
This time the X3 GEAR is fitted with gear drives instead of direct drives. The Street ELEMENT Gear Drive system has comparable free-roll ability to the previously used Direct Drive system.
By default, it comes with Kegel and ABEC adapters, making it easy for riders to swap between their favorite urethane wheels, of any size. And to compliment that, the board is fitted with the acclaimed and loved 105mm MAD Wheelz V2 urethane wheels.
The 2WD Street ELEMENT system, paired with the 170KV motors and a 120A ESC, is able to provide a lot more torque and overall performance, especially in acceleration and braking, compared to the 4WD Direct Drive system.
The battery has also been upgraded, now fitted with Samsung 50S cells, in a 14S3P configuration, which adds up to a total of 777Wh. The Samsung 50S cells are considered one of the best cells on the market, because of its impressive performance and efficiency, while also being a high-capacity cell.
As always at Acedeck, we only use CNC machined aluminum everywhere we can, from the trucks and ESC cover, to the wheel hubs and gear drives on all our boards.
Compared to cast or forged aluminum elements found on most boards, our precision machined parts made out of 6061 aluminum are much more durable, and offer better turning performance and stability when it comes to our TKP Precision trucks, for example.

The Ares X3 GEAR is a very powerful board with great range, in a compact and slim carbon fiber platform. This is one of the most powerful street wheel board you can buy.

Drive Sytem: The 4WD Direct Drive system has been replaced with a 2WD street gear drive system for better acceleration and braking performance, with similar free rolling ability, and improved clearance.
Electronics: We went from 2x 50A ESCs to a single, more powerful 120A ESC, meaning less parts to worry about. We replaced the Molicel P42A to Samsung 50S cells in the same 14S3P configuration. This means similar performance, but an extended range and capacity, from 652Wh to 777Wh. The new 170KV motors also allow of a higher top speed of 38Mph.
Wheels: Now, the board comes by default with MAD Wheelz V2 105mm wheels instead of the 95mm wheels from the X3.
Deck: The deck, while having a similar look, has been improved, reinforced and is now coated in a beautiful white finish.
Details: The board is now fitted with much better bushings, and comes with a CNC footstop included in the box for better control and foot positioning.
Reliability and Pricing: The changes from a 4WD system with 2 ESCs, to 2WD system, meant we could reduce the risk of issues overtime, but also lower the price, even though the overall performance is much stronger on the new X3 GEAR.

Great board with great power, it comes well packed and has extra's like spare bushings, tools, screws and wheel adaptors. It can go fast for the daredevils and has plenty of range. I like it a lot😃👍🏻

I've been riding regular long boards for a couple years now, but this is my first high performance e skate and it definitely lives up to the hype. Sport mode is a blast and Sport + is brutal acceleration, you learn to roll on throttle instead of pinning it for sure! The board feels strong and solid. Build quality is excellent. Even the cops pulled me over and asked how fast it went then wished me a safe ride. Took a minute to get here but 100% worth it def a street missle

Sooooo much fun and easy to ride.
I was currently riding the Meepo Mini 2 ER with 105mm wheel conversion but the Acedeck X3 board allows me to go faster with confidence and reach further on a single charge. Love it how the board is decked out white since it's my favorite color and the stance gives it a SuperBoard look!
So been riding the tynee mini 3 pro for a few years … just opening the box instantly looking at this and the blizzard pro way better looking and quality parts ..the colors .. this area x3 though …its so stable even when i hit 35 mph .but the best part for me at least is the sound of the motors Also gear drive vs the belt drive I like both actually .prefer the gear drive no belts braking (sometimes if i brake to hard with the belts and the tension isn’t perfect the belt can jump and snap ) ,which sucks The ares sounds like a jet turbine ..the paint is awesome to reminds me of my old Nissan 350 pearl paint ..it would be cool if it had the built in lights like the blizzard pro but i didnt buy it for that I bought it for the extended range ..bigger battery and stability for longer commuting ..the mini 3 pro and blizzard can commute but the ares is just in a different class .im selling my mini 3 pro to fund another x3 .

This board has exceeded all of my expectations. It is so much fun. And so much different in every good way possible
Absolutely fabulous board, got plenty about of power and ridiculous amount torque. Even as a heaver rider I'm able manage to accurate like crazy. The board is buttery smooth even on bumpy NYC roads. However, in my option the 105MM wheel that come with the board is bit too small for this board. Full sending the board on the 105MM wheel from dead stop is damn near impossible, I would highly recommend putting the 125MM Madwheel on this board. In fact I will go as far as saying that the 125MM wheel should come as the stock option. It made the board so much more manageable at launch and gives it a better top end. I can easily cruise at 25mph with the 125MM. It also made the board handle bumps even better than the 105mm, and that additional ground clearance is a night and day different. Hopefully Acedeck can make the 125MM as standard, like I said it suits the board way better than the 105MM.
It’s an incredible board I had got hit by a car and had my axle split I’ll see what they’ll do about it, and how much it’ll cost or whatever but I just bought this board, some asshole literally was intoxicated or didn’t like my T-shirt or something. Anyway. My experience with it is that acedeck is awesome. My only advice to you is the deck is hard so wear padded socks. And the foot stop is crucial install that before you ride. But otherwise incredible board you should definitely buy one. They are probably the best about Support. They answer within 24 hours. Replacement parts are fairly inexpensive.. and the boards are incredible.

Ok so day three still scared of s+ mode but so far it’s been fun my motors make a clicking noise when free rolling that might be normal but it’s my first electric skateboard and it is worth every penny already so much fun cruising around at 25 mph need to adjust the bushings before I go any faster battery life is great lasts forever put down 15 miles and only three bars down this thing has some serious range. Dream ride!!! Truly has that Rocket feel!! So responsive and letting off the throttle in the Free roll so smooth!! About 25 miles on the first charge👍 I get a good vibe from the remote ✌️. Went to the back with the foot stop. Other than being able to toe lift the front end over bumps. I didn't think having something stop my feet from a clear run out Was the way i wanted to ride. going to roll the dice. Trying it out 🤞🏻 nice to supplement the handle on the back. It's my first electric skateboard after a lifetime of regular push boards and surf skates. It's very easy to ride. I love the fit and finish of all the parts and pieces. It looks and feels of quality overall. I just wish the users manual showed more detail on the various hand control settings.

Absolutely love the board and design, deck,trucks and wheels are exceptionally well made. Been on it once for a test run had to change the bushings to softer ones but yet to test due to uk weather. I bought this board due to reviews and they are not wrong it's fantastic well done acedeck.
While not as quiet as the 1st gen, the new X3’s more like a rocket than an arrow. The power curve on this thing is insane. Might not be as stealthy but this thing packs a punch, and keeps going 💥 Great job Acedeck!!
I’m absolutely in love with this board to the point that I want to sell my others because I see no use for them. The torque is incredible and I find it hard to outride the battery life on this thing (I’m 5’10”, weigh 215 and ride very aggressive). I’ve managed to get about 40-41 miles out of it in one charge. It’s incredibly stable at speed and turns very well. I’d recommend swapping the bushings on the back truck to the white ones that are included. My only two complaints are that all the reviews I watched showed that the board came with extra grip tape, mine didn’t and acedeck informed me that it is given at random which I think is unfair considering I spent over $1k on a skateboard. The grip tape is also prone to peeling off, mine started peeling on the first day. After putting over 200 miles on it the grip on the edges has come completely off. Not a big deal hence why I still gave it a 5 star review but I personally feel this shouldn’t even be a problem at this price point. I’m actively doing this review just to get $20 off my next purchase for the darn grip tape.
I’ve put over 100 miles on this thing in less than 3 days. I love it, my only complaint is that I requested a purple footstool and got blue. Chef’s kiss. This board is perfect.

I have had my board for 4 days and so far have ridden close to 50 Miles on it. I absolutely love it. I have ridden Boosted Boards, Meepos, and now an Acedeck street board and this is by far the best street board I have ever had the opportunity to ride. The ESC is tuned beautifully, the brakes are effective but not too much to handle, the stock bushings have been great for me carving/stability wise at speed. The board looks gorgeous and is hard to see getting beat up by rocks and rough riding but I bought the board to use it and it’s handling it as expected. I do wish that some extra gear guards and motor guards came in the box as they are already seeing wear from pebbles. I also am a fan of the footstop. I thought I would hate it but it is very useful for inside turns as something to grip onto for extra pulling force, it definitely takes some time getting your foot used to though, a little sore on the first couple rides. Overall this board is the best electric board I have ever ridden and I will never be returning to another brand after my experience so far.
This board has become by far my favorite. Not only does it look beautiful, but it is extremely fast. Even at high speeds, it is extremely stable. I highly recommend this board.
The best Electric Skateboard I have ever owned. Fast and stable. Turning radius is decent, but I’m sure you can swap the bushings for that. Super good looking. I get compliments all the time! Just buy it, you won’t regret it.
After having had a not so nice experience with the Nomad N1 (original ESC) with the jerkiness and other bits I sold it and forgot about Acedeck. Then, comes the X3. A street board like how i love them but with a gear drive which i never tried before. I got the board from China to UK very quickly (10 days) and waited to give my review until i actually go for a ride. Today, i tried it and i can tell you, it is so smooth and absolutely beautiful to ride. Coming from belt drive board toi gear is a little different in the noise. I thought it's louder than the belt but i like it and just need to learn how to maintain it. If you want a street board that's better looking than any on the market and is little monster then i highly recommend the X3. I changed the grip tape to show more the shite body 😁

By far the underdog of the year here. 4wd direct drive is INSANE. The comfortability at 35 plus mph is just surreal! It is truly an amazing piece of tech and has amazing power and range to boot! Love this board!
